Our History
Fast Flashings LLC was founded in June 2003 by owner Ian McGlynn to solve a common problem in the sheet metal industry: slow turnaround times and unreliable service. With more than 25 years of experience operating McGlynn Plastering Inc., Ian understood firsthand how difficult it could be to source quality sheet metal products quickly when construction schedules couldn’t wait.
After years of dealing with delayed orders and suppliers that struggled to respond to urgent requests—especially smaller jobs—Ian saw an opportunity to do things differently. He started Fast Flashings with a simple goal: produce high-quality, made-to-order sheet metal products quickly, accurately, and consistently.
Today, Fast Flashings continues to build on that foundation. Drawing on real job site experience, we help contractors and builders stay on schedule by creating dependable sheet metal solutions with the speed, precision, and quality they expect on every order.
